The YMCA Guardians for Child Protection participated in a debrief with filmmaker and child sexual abuse survivor, Sasha Neulinger. His film, REWIND, is unquestionably difficult to watch and yet an eye-opener with a powerful, moving, and courageous message. The City of Flint awarded grants to 11 community partners, including the YMCA of Greater Flint, to help further the mission of Flint ReCAST (Resiliency in Communities after Stress and Trauma), a program designed to promote resilience in the community by supporting families and mitigating the impact of trauma.
